Dear Friend (2023)
The Bombadils, comprised of folk darlings Luke Fraser and Sarah Frank, are known for creating music with poetic lyrics, fresh metaphors, scene-setting details, and clever turns of phrase. Their new album Dear Friend, is no exception; the album is a series of love letters of a certain kind—to family and friends, to strangers and neighbors, to cities and landscapes, to each other.

New Shoes, from 2016, features our early explorations of folk, bluegrass, Canadian and American fiddle traditions, and a taste of original songwriting.

This one was recorded back when we were music students at McGill Universty with engineer/producers James Perrella and Julia Graff. Featuring Anh Phung on flute and Evan Stewart on upright bass.
