Announcing our kids' book, Little Days, available in hard and soft cover.

It's based on our song "Little Days", a tune about the heart-tugging moments of early parenthood. It features stunning watercolour paintings by my (Sarah's) sister, Veronica Chih Ming Frank, with loving nods to the multiracial childhood we shared as kids and that our own kids now enjoy.

The days speed by with little ones at home, making parents and caregivers nostalgic for precious moments while they’re still unfolding. Amidst finger paint, paper airplanes, and a sweater outgrown too soon, these grownups find themselves singing a wistful song,

“My heart aches from being stretched so wide...

in the ocean of my heart, you’re the rising tide.”

This is Little Days by Canadian folk darlings The Bombadils (Luke Fraser and Sarah Frank) — East Coast Music Award and Canadian Folk Music Award winners, and parents of three spunky kids. In this tender song-turned-picture-book, Sarah’s sister, visual artist Veronica Chih Ming Frank sets rich watercolour illustrations to lyrics of childhood magic and wonder, in an imaginative sibling collaboration. “I want to linger a little longer in the wonder of these little days…”
