Wistful and tender, "Little Days" is filled with love and childlike wonder, and that little twinge of sadness that comes along with witnessing a child grow up before your eyes. The Bombadils break away from their usual layered arrangements and perform this one as a duo, using resonant, open tunings on guitar and fiddle, and leaving plenty of room to deliver heart-felt lyrics, "I want to linger / a little longer / in the wonder / of these little days."
